Let’s jump across the pond, and visit Holland. With spring around the corner, Holland is a must see. One thing to keep in mind, is a lot of the images you see where there are windmills surrounded by tulips, just are not going to happen. There are very short windows for tulips, and if they are being grown for bulbs, as soon as they flower, the heads are cut off. If they are being grown for flowers, they are removed before they even open. So, timing has to be perfect. Weather dictates when to see them, but April is usually the best month. Earlier you can see hyacinth fields or other bulbs. Nevertheless, it is a wonderful and friendly place to visit.
